Prof. Predrag Nikic, PhD is an international yoga doyen, researcher and author.

He obtained his PhD in the field of Emotional Intelligence. He is the President of the International Society for Scientific Interdisciplinary Researches in the Field of Yoga, Professor at the International Academy for Yoga Teachers Education. He serves as a President of the General Assembly of Yoga Federation of Europe.

Padma Shri Award

President Pranab Mukherjee honoured 56 eminent personalities with Padma awards at the Civil Investiture Ceremony held on 28th March 2016 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in the presence of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, ministers, diplomats and distinguished guests. Prof. Predrag Nikic, PhD has been awarded by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee with Padma Shri award for contribution in the field of yoga.

As an internationally recognised Yoga Doyen, he initiated and organised International Yoga Festival,  and the first International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference about Effects of Yoga “YOGA IN SCIENCE – FUTURE AND PERSPECTIVES” that gathered the greatest yoga authorities.
